Responsive Design
REQUIREMENTS:
Customer had an existing code base and was having difficulty getting a minimum viable product to market. They wanted to bring the management of the software back onshore and push to get a quality product ready for their launch.
SOLUTION:
I developed a detailed tech assessment and action plan. This included modernizing their tech stack to handle projected user growth, revising their development processes to implement an Agile methodology, and establishing strict minimum code standards. Additionally, I implemented CI/CD procedures aimed at minimizing bugs and reducing feature implementation timelines.
As a result of these efforts, I automated testing and shortened the development and deployment cycle. Furthermore, I developed a Single Page Application (SPA) with a fully-responsive upgraded design, supported by a REST API backend. Ultimately, I successfully executed the action plan and launched the platform within the expected timeframe.
Training Table Mobile App
REQUIREMENTS:
Company had a new digital product that they wanted to roll out to a select group of restaurant partners. The company had an existing systems with a user base and needed a way to sync promotions and transactions to their users.
SOLUTION:
I reviewed the requirements with the client in order to understand their needs so I could best guide them with their development. We reviewed various ways to sync data with the restaurants. Since this was a limited roll-out and the primary objectives were getting the product out very quickly with a limited budget. Simplicity was also very important in order to minimize friction from adopters that needed to learn/train on a new system.
In order to meet these constraints, we utilized their existing systems to deploy a REST API and admin backend at low cost, quickly developed a highly-deployable mobile app by utilizing the Flutter framework, and utilized QR codes and simple interface design for simplicity. The project was completed within timeline and budgetary requirements. Software is deployable to iOS, Android devices.
